I voted honestly even though you bashed goths and goths arent all that bad. Its this stereo typical image and all this movie did was throw fuel onto the fire.

very nice but...

as an animation goes there is waaaaay too much information for the eye to see, you want to read the subtitles but there is movement that distracts you and makes you look away at something that should be mundane and motoinless. My suggestion is although you have a unique style, it needs tweeking. Cleaner pictures that doesnt require a second glance to see what it is and less movement in things that arent meant to distract you from what you should be looking at (ie. the persons colored outline moving non-stop)

To be honest, with so many people helping out on one single flash i expected much better. The art was... eh.. it was ok, you should probably draw something less realistic instead of trying to draw people because you havent gotten to the point where the drawings would apear satisfactory. The animation is like the art, ok but not good, it seemed pretty stiff as animation goes, and i judge people very lightly when it comes to flash animation because animation and drawing are two completely different things. The direction was good for the most of it, if displayed the key idea of each scene. I think the best part of this animation is the voice acting and the story, the story is well thought out and the voice acting sounds good, although the lip synch was VERY off.

I thought it was good compared to the amount of trash we get in the portal. The voice acting was kinda iffy, the sound quality constantly changed and the lip synch was off. The drawings were good but the fight scene was obviously done through rotoscope (tracing frames from a movie) so I deducted points for style because roto scope animation is kinda a shortcut, and as all shortcuts go, it leaves that animation for the fight scene looking stiff. All in all it was great, but remember, the extra effort that would take should you decide to not take shortcuts will leave your animation looking much better.

I disagree

All of the movies you looked over in your animation deserved to be blammed and Ill tell you why. First shape tweening sucks and takes no skill, not to mention it looks crappy. Second that stick skate was made through rotoscope (tracing frames from a video) and was done poorly anyway, not to mention stick skating is old and very boring. Third dragon ball Z sucks and using sprites with poor backgrounds isnt worth saving. And lastly that last movie though not a 0 was pretty bad.

in a way i do agree with you but seeing as i have just started using flash i could'nt create great example of these types of movies, i tried my best but surely people can understand that it takes YEARS for people to develop flash skills and the fact that many respectable artists are put off by a load of idiots saying that it has no redeeming qualities.
